So there's My God....

Then there's "my" country. I just can't get over people's... what is it? Ego? Greed? I really can't get my head around how we got into this business of land ownership. The Native Americans had it so right. It's not that I'm a communist.... Buying one's on property... fine. It's just the attitude that surrounds it. The rabid determination with which people persist that this is really "their" land, they honestly believe they "deserve" it, it's their "God-given right" God "chose" them. Urrrrrrrrg.

The idea of "deserving" could be an entire essay in itself. Agh. I think I feel and understand things so well, but I can't explain them. It's so frustrating. If I was really smart and could really explain what I was thinking like freakin' Thoreau or whatever. Man, that'd be incredible. Anyways

"Deserving." I just wish people could get it in their head that they "deserve" nothing. They are not "special" or "superior" to the poor Mexican immigrants trying to cross the boarder into this country. How can you possibly "deserve" this? Whoopdeedoo, some doctor yanked you out of your Momma's vagina and you happened to land within the perameters of an arbitrary longitude and latitude obtained by bullying politicians long before your Momma popped out of her Momma's cooch.

Haha, that's a funny picture. You know how you see pictures of the tv inside a tv inside a tv. How about a Momma inside a Momma's vagina inside a Momma's vagina inside a.... You get the point, or should I say prick. Anyways.

It disturbs me to call them criminals. How is someone a criminal if they're doing nothing wrong? And the majority of them aren't.... Since when is trying to provide for your family a crime? Or trying to go somewhere to get better health care or a few rights? And God, who would come to America for health care and rights anyway? Only the tired, poor, huddled masses.

Which brings me to the Statue of Liberty.... So, remind me, why are we so proud of her? Is it for her artistry? She is beautiful, after all. But no... last time I checked she was crafted by the French. And the idea of admiring her for her ideals makes me want to puke. The extent to which we've betrayed the intentions of our "fathers," the people who settled here and died so that we could be "free" is nauseating.

So then there's... our ownership of the earth and universe. Completely ridiculous, obviously. And what self-respecting person treats their property this much like shit. Social services comes knocking if you've got children in a home fucked-up this bad. Where the Hell is social services? I bet God's regretting that cute little well-intentioned promise he made with Noah just about now. Actually, it's more likely he was like, "Never again will I destroy my creation. Fuck them. They can destroy themselves." So then he went off and, can you say, UPGRADE! And in this, though I'm sure I didn't make it very clear, I was talking about gross pollution and destroying our ozone layer and... all that jazz.

Okay, I'm tired of this ownership concept. Moving on.
